The size of my slide is something that I've had friends tease me about for years. I use a frictionless marine propeller shaft bearing, or cutless bearing, to do my sliding. It's just something that I ran across at a garage sale one day. I find that it works just right.

I was a little slow to respond to such jibes about the size of my slide. Then one day I came up with the perfect line. "It's not the size of your slide. It's the slide of your size." Upon further reflection, I realized that much more could be said in this regard and that's where the song came from.
